Five Good Things
Dearest friends on the internet,
I trust today was a good day for you all. All is well here. The woman managed to get on my very last nerve, but overall we are okay.
I know we are all very stressed but I firmly believe there are lots of things we can be thankful for. I know sometimes it’s hard to see them, but they are there. I thought I’d share my list of Five Good Things:
1. Back rubs...especially that spot where your tail joins your back. This is an exceptionally good thing.
2. Fuzzy sock nights...I don’t think I need to explain this one. I mean...duh.
3. Finding out that someone other than me is going to the vet when the woman pulls out the cat carrier.
4. Hearing the woman fuss at Miss Elizabeth Taylor for being such a hussy.
5. A nap in a sunbeam...I mean, working on my book in a sunbeam.
See...there are things to be happy about! If I can find 5 things while living in this house with vile beasts, I just know each of you can find some, too. Let me know what you’re thankful for.
In other news, we are now in week 3 of no mowing in my yard. I am mortified and disgusted. Lord only knows what kinds of beasts are roaming in the grass. I have given up hope of this being resolved anytime soon.
I hope you all have a lovely evening with nothing but freshly washed hands. And for Pete’s sake, wear a mask. It’s truly the only hope we have right now.
Very truly yours,
Bob
